To solve this question we can first subtract from all of the numbers. This won't affect the result. Now we compare decimals .14<.89 because 89>14. Then we compare .89 and .5. We can express .5 as .50 in this case. .89>.50, because 89>50. Finally, we compare .89 and .2 . We can do this by saying .2=.20. We compare .89>.20,  and we get .89 is greater than .20 because 89 is greater than 20. Now we can add back the four we subtracted earlier. The answer becomes 4.89 because of this.
