25 POINTS PLEASE GIVE A LOGICAL ANSWER The original question was to write a two column proof around the following: Prove that the base angles of an isosceles triangle are congruent. Be sure to create and name the appropriate geometric figures. (10 points)
I did so, and my proof is attached below.
Here was the correction my math teacher had for me: In order to use AAS theorem in your proof you must first have shown that 2 pairs of angles and one pair of sides are congruent in your proof to earn the A, A and S. You have only shown that one pair of sides are congruent in step 3. Hint: the given must be more specific. Which pair of sides are congruent to make this an isosceles triangle?
MY QUESTION IS: How can I revise my proof to include my teacher's edits?
