I have been struggling on this problem for a while: Let triangle ABC be a right triangle, and let point H be the point on side AB so that line CH is perpendicular to line AB. Prove that (x + h)^2 + (y + h)^2 = (a + b)^2. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
