Note, if the question asked the ratio between trucks and cars the answer would be 8 : 6. But wait!!! That's actually not the answer, for, we have to simplify it. The greatest common factor of 6 and 8 is 2.

So, let's divide both 6 and 8 by two to get the simplified ratio as 3 : 4.
