How many different messages can be transmitted in n microseconds using three different signals if one signal requires 1 microsecond for transmittal and the other two signals require 2 microseconds each for transmittal. Signals in a message immediately follow one another. Note: Your final solution must not be in the form of a recurrence relation. Hint: The empty message is still considered a message.
