A researcher wanted to know the effects of homework assignments and session length on the learning of the course content. She designed a study in which 28 students were randomly assigned to either a homework (1) or no homework (2) condition as well as either an 8-week session (1) or a 16-week session (2). This resulted in 7 students participating in each of the four conditions. At the end of the sessions, all students took the same final exam. Table 1 summarizes this data. You are to examine the main effects of the two independent variables and the interaction effect of homework and session length. a.
