While Ms. Fernandez is standing in line to buy her lottery ticket, she noticed that a different state has a jackpot that may go even higher. Then she realizes that because of a time difference, it has more hours to grow! She has already predicted that the jackpot in her state will be $50,900,000 when tickets are drawn, and she has to decide quickly if she should buy tickets in the other state. On a nearby television screen, she sees a news report explaining that the other state started the day with a jackpot of $29,000,000 and that each additional ticket sold will increase the jackpot by $1.00. The news also mentioned that 1,800,000 tickets were sold in the first hour and hourly ticket sales have steadily increased by 20,000 tickets per hour throughout the day. If the drawing in that state occurs 14 hours after stores have opened, which state will have the larger jackpot?
