1. Pick an appliance or any object with volume in your home (e. i. refrigerator, washer, ice box, chest box, etc.).

2. Get the dimensions of your chosen appliance or object using a ruler, tape measure, meter stick, etc.(length, width and height). Note: You can use any unit of length (e. i. centimeters, inch, etc.)

3. Make a complete sketch of your work including the measurements/dimensions.

4. Solve for the surface area and volume. Show your work for full credit.
