m= 0.5/1 we write it as -1/2 the rate of change.

So we now know the coordinates are (0.5, 1) we can input the rate of change as m being the slope.

So that m= -1/2 we want to write y = -1/2 * 0.5 x 2 but we start with x+b and show what the equal m and x values.

y = -0.5(x + b)

y = -1/2 * 0.5 + 1.25

y=1
