5. Graph the function
F(x)= {3. If -infinity {1/3x+3 If -2>x> infinity.
(Not sure what x is)
10. Consider the following piecewise-defined function, and make observations about its graph. It’s a 10 by 10 so it goes from positive 10 to negative 10.
There is a closed point on (-9,-5) and a hump shape leading to an open point on (-3,-5) there’s a line connecting it to another open point on (1,-9,) then there is a continuous line going from (1,-9) to (10,0) and continuing. There is another closed point at (1,0) there is nothing connecting this point to ANY of the others.
Part A: Over what interval(s) is the function increasing?
Part B: Over what interval(s) is the function decreasing?
Part C: What is the domain of the function?
Part D: what is the range of the function?
Part E:Does the graph represent a function? Explain how you know.
