A large and tedious book calledThe Theory of Probabilitycontains 830 pages, each page containing a large number of words (the author apparently has a tire-some fondness for language). In spite of the best efforts of the publishing staffand the author a small number of word misprints have crept into the volume andafter publication the book is found to have 83 word misprints. Now the authorwould be mortified indeed if the introductory page itself contained two or moremisprints. Estimate the probability of this unfortunate event, that the first page ofthe introduction contains two or more misprints. Bear in mind that, in view of thelectures this week, there is a natural probability model for this setting which youare expected to use
