What is the difference between explicit and recursive forms of sequences?
Explicit and recursive forms are the same thing. They just have two
different names
The explicit form is written in terms of the previous term and recursive
form is written in terms of the number of the term.
The explĂcit form is written in terms of the number of the term and the
recursive form is written in terms of the previous term.
You use explicit form if you have to multiply each term by a constant to
get the next term, and use recursive form if you have to add a constant to
each term to get the next term.
