1. On Thursday afternoon I left my house and headed to my friend’s house that lives at the opposite end of my street. I was walking at a leisurely pace when I saw a cute kitten. I stopped for a minute to pet the kitten when all of the sudden it started to rain, so I ran as fast as I could to my friend’s house. I stayed at her house for a while and then ran home just in time for dinner.
