A furniture company has four product types; Product1, Product2, Product3, and Product4. Four departments; A, B, C, and D are needed for producing these products. However, each product needs different steps to produce.

• Product1;
o Production Quantity (per day) = 5
o Routing: A-B-C-D-A
o Weight (movement factor) = 1
• Product2;
o Production Quantity (per day) = 10
o Routing: B-A-D
o Weight (movement factor) = 0.75
• Product3;
o Production Quantity (per day) = 15
o Routing: C-A-B-D
o Weight (movement factor) = 0.5
• Product4;
o Production Quantity (per day) = 20
o Routing: A-B-A-B
o Weight (movement factor) = 0.25

1) Develop a From-to chart.
2) Develop three-block layouts using the SLP. Assume that the total available space is 100*100 and the required spaces for the departments are 1000 (A), 2000 (B), 2000 (C), and 5000 (D).
3) Compute the distance-based objective values for the three layouts.
4) Compute the adjacency-based objective values for the three layouts.
