Addie has saved $128 from recycling all of their soda cans these last few years. You can show how much Addie has right now by having the function c(x) = 128. A local bank asked her to bring her money and open a savings account so that it can add to her principal by accruing interest. The savings account adding interest to the principle can be modeled with the equation j(x)=(1.05)^x-1 to give the current interest. When you put these two functions together, you were able to have an account represented by the function f(x)=128(1.05)^x-1. Explain to Addie what this means in terms of her initial investment and how much it will grow then calculate how much she’d have after five years without adding any more in. Thanks in advance for any help I can get !!
