How does buying items in bulk usually a consumer?

Ironically, buying a lot at a time is cheaper than buying bit by bit. Places like Sam's Club specialise in having bulk supplies. People might not be planning to buy bulk, but after seeing how cheap it is, they'll decide to buy more than they planned. It creates the illusion of saving money to the consumer, but in reality, they spent more just because they liked the idea of getting more product. Hope that made since! :D

Basically, you pay less when you buy in bulk. It's like you get a discount or offered a lesser price for the items because you bought a lot in number. Therefore, the consumer pays less per item. Once a consumer reaches a certain quantity of items, there is an introduced wholesale price which is a unit price lesser than usual which is already a big help to consumers.

Best answer that i found on yahoo ok   set :   x= length of 2nd piece in cm  x- 3= length of 1st piece in cm  x-4= length of 3rd piece in cm  then since you know they all came from the 20 cm ribbon you add them together and set them equal to 20x+ x-3 +x-4 = 20  3x - 7= 20  3x= 27  x= 9  the shortest piece is the third piece which is x- 4  x-4  9-4 = 5  the length of the smallest piece is 5 cm.  the other lengths are  9 cm  6 cm
