02.01 Dividing Rational Numbers
1 cup sugar. 1 cup corn syrup. 1 cup peanut butter. 2 cups flakey corn cereal. Directions: Heat sugar and corn syrup over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Stir in peanut butter until melted. Remove from heat and stir in cereal. Yield: 3 and half cups. Serving size: 1/8 cup
Andrew is having a party and wants to have 42 servings of his favorite candy treat on hand to serve all the guests he's invited.
If he makes one batch of the recipe, will he have enough to serve his guests?
