Suppose customers arrive randomly one at a time (independant of each other) to a drive-through at a fast food restaurant at a rate of 1 every 10 minutes on the average. Suppose an employee is working a 4 hour shift there. Let X be the number of customers that vise the drive-through during their shift. a. What is the distribution of X? Give the name of the distribution and the appropriate parameters. b. Whnt is the mean and variance of this distribution? Give your answer as a number, but include the formulas (or logic) used. Note be very careful with mixing time units! c. What is the probability they have no customers during their shift?d. What is the probability that they have between 15 and 25 customers during their shift?
