x-8 (so x is 8)
x+9 ( I assume that the missing sign is a plus) (x would be -9)
this means that it's x-intercept  is (-9,0) - only this option includes the intercept.

The other intercept is (8,0)

Function f(x) = (x-8)(x+9)

x-intercept means f(x) = 0

(x-8)(x+9) = 0 ⇒ x = 8 or x = - 9

Then there are two points which are x-intercept. They are (8,0) and (-9,-0).
