Hey, can anyone help me with this? Okay, so in the equation 10 + 3x= -17 . The answer or (x) = -9 because you minus 10 on both sides then, you add 17 + 10 and get -27 then you have to divide and 3 and 4 cross out, and 21 divided by 3 is -9. Can someone please tell me why you add for the -17 part in the equation !!!
