Find an example of a flat object, something real that you can observe. Calculate the surface area of this object, and you can take any measurements needed using a unit system of your choice. About the object: your object should consist of a flat region with 4 edges. At least two opposite edges of the object should be curved but not round. The other two opposite edges can be parallel lines. Use a regression method and suitable functions to fit the curved edges. Use definite integrals and formula for area between two curves to calculate the total area of your region. Draw a picture. Explain your steps in details. Presentation of your work is important and counts toward the grade.
