The archimedean snail, used in ancient times for irrigation consisted of a wooden spiral encased in a cylinder. The snail would be slanted into water at an angle of about 25° with the horizontal. Turning the cylinder caused the water to climb the spiral. About how long should a cylinder be to raise water to a height of 2 meters?
