Samuel said that 16: 36 was equivalent to 72: 32. what was samuel's error? the ratio was not chosen from the same columns. he did not look at the correct rows. this problem was impossible. 16: 36 has no equivalent ratios. the first and second terms for both ratios need to be in the same order.
