Question: this is a math 1139 permutation and combinations (probability) they are going to choose 8 people. specifically, 3 will be chosen randomly out of 19 people who work in office b, and 2 will be chosen randomly out of 12 people who work in office c. i myself work in office a. how many different groups of 8 are possible under those conditions, and also how many groups are possible with me in them, and the probability that i would be in the group that gets to go?
