The value of the next term is 39.0625

Given that the series is 1 , 2.5 , 6.25, 15.625

When we divide 2nd term by first we get 2.5 , similarly for other successive number when we divide them with their preceding number we get a value of 2.5

So, all the successive numbers are 2.5 times of their previous number  

So the value of next term is 39.0625
