Which equations show a direct variation?
choose all answers that are correct.

Apparently you had to scooty out of here before you had a chance to
tell us what the choices are.  So there's no way for anybody to help you
find the correct ones.

For an equation to show direct variation:

-- When either 'x' or 'y' is zero, the other one must be zero too.

-- 'x' and 'y' must both be to the first power in the equation. 
     What I mean is;  no squares or higher powers of 'x' or 'y',
     no square roots, or cubes etc.

and

-- If 'x' or 'y' is in the denominator of a fraction,
then it has to be in the numerator too.

So confused right here i need it to be more clearer
