• are there any that surprised you? which ones did you think would be less likely to happen than the odds
indicated, and which ones would you think would be more likely? [and, for a timely comparison, the odds of
winning the mega millions lottery jackpot is 1 in 302,575,350.] (7 points)
• use google or other search engines and research these or other similar odds/probabilities on causes of death.
do they generally agree with this table? why or why not? did you find something that can be added to this
table? (10 points)
