during the summer my father and i both work for my brother at lakeland golf course. most mornings my dad mows greens starting at 5: 45 a. m. the greens are mowed a little differently each day, as explained below.
1) the middle of each green is mowed at either 10: 00, 12: 00, 2: 00, or 3: 00
2) then one pass is mowed around the edge of the green. that pass is mowed:
a. either all the way out to the edge or in about 6 inches, and
b. with either the left reel out (clockwise) or the right reel out (counterclockwise)
my first question for you is this; how many different ways are there to mow a green? write down your answer and write a couple of sentences explaining how you came up with your answer.
next, find the probability that one randomly selected day the greens are mowed:
i) at 10: 00?
ii) with the left reel out (clockwise)?
iii) at 12: 00 and about 6 inches in from the edge?

Use the spider tool located on page 1 of this activity to draw a 12-pointed star for the new logo. (hint: if the spider rotates 360 degrees -- or 720 degrees or 1080 degrees -- she will be facing in the same direction in which she started. when the spider is done drawing, you want her to be facing in the same direction in which she started. she'll be making 12 rotations, all the same size, so each rotation must be some multiple of 360/12 = 30 degrees.) urgently. been stuck on this problem for around 45 minutes now.! it should be easy if you're smart enough
