i've started on the keto diet about 8 weeks ago, trying to keep my carb intake to less than 25 grams per day, or 100 calories, with 1400 calories of fat and 500 calories of protein. i decided one day to go to starbucks for a iced coffee, hypothesizing that a venti iced coffee with only cream would be well below the 25 gram per day limit. the hypothesis i made was wrong. after drinking the coffee i began to feel nauseous, and had a splitting headache. when doing a little more research i found out there was a lot more sugar in the creamer than i expected, roughly 40 grams. next time i will go with either the smaller choice or almond milk added to avoid any side effects.

i've recently embarked on a six sigma class that uses allot of the same methods used throughout this course. one of those methods was hypothesis testing. when working through a project it is common that a project manager needs to do hypothesis testing when creating and completing a project plan. when measuring resources and dates we use both experience and hypothesis. by gaining more experience in projects and time frames it becomes easier to create contingencies by using type i and type ii errors.
