(-3x + 3x) + 8 < 15 + 3x          => (-3x + 3x) = 0

8 < 15 + 3x                              => subtract 15 from both sides

8-15 < 3x                                 => 8 - 15 = -7

-7 < 3x                                     => divide both sides by 3

-7/3 < x
