How do you determine whether 2 point-slope form equations represent the same line?

For point slope form its always in the order of y-y2=m(x-x2) when you have this formula but with your data, you have to first perform distributive  property so you time the slope of the equation which represents the m into the x by itself and the letter x2 which will represent your x coordinate. after you do this you should have y-y2=mx + or - whatever the two numbers product is when you multiply the two together after this you add or subtract the y coordinate from the left side of the given equation. depending on what they originally give you. After that you should have the equation now in slope y intercept form. You repeat these steps in the next given equation and after they are both in slope y intercept form to determine if they are the same line if they are then you both should be the exact same equation with the same slope and the same y-intercept
