Part A: 3x^4 + 2x^3 - 5x^2
We know it's in standard form because it is written from highest exponent to the lowest.

Part B: the closure property states that adding a polynomial to another polynomial, will always result in a Polynomial.

Ex: (3x^4 + 6x^3 - 5x^2) + (4x^4 - 2x^3 + 3x^2)

= 7x^4 + 4x^3 -2x^2

Therefore, a polynomial results.
