If someone changes in prison and simply becomes a “better person,” not necessarily changes to make a difference in the larger world, should that person be spared from death or given a lighter sentence in general? Technically changing their behavior alone would-be rehabilitation. Tell me why you feel the way you do. How can we determine if a person has really changed?
