Based on what you have learned about the background of james, why do you think people would have been eager to read an epistle written by this man?

Based on what I have learned about the background of James, I think that people would have been eager to read an Epistle written by him because he was very important. This is because James was the half-brother to Jesus. This being said, he could give a view of his life with Jesus that no other person could at that period of time. No one now could even give a little bit of a view of Jesus now that he has gone to heaven with God.
