This large scale store also allowed prices to be cheaper for the products they were selling-making their business extremely competitive.
Georgia Pacific: Owen R Cheatham started a lumber company in 1927 and wanted to expand it into a bigger business which was a risk. He ran five lumberyards and expanded them to the pacific coast in 1947. The company continues to be successful today.
