The answer is letter c. Sol-leks.  Though they both decided on this, Buck places himself on the position of the leader.  Though they put the harness on Sol-leks, Buck attacks him and this frightens Sol-leks and relents to let Buck take the lead.  The two come back with weapons but Buck will not go back to his position.  They finally decide to let Buck be the leader.
