In order to keep competitors from decreasing or increasing the prices of oil they may establish, a very democratic price. About 1 dollar per gallon so that their offer will be more affordable and reasonable.

The advantage for us in taking mixed economy as a basis is that this system allows producers to produce things they want. In this case government always regulates what is being sold among the country in order to protect its citizens. What about market, this policy is not as powerful as the previous, this economy wouldn't be that suitable as any type of the products may cause harm such as weapons or drugs. which could be sold freely and carelessly distributed.

Patent law is an application to obtain protection under u.s law. If a company or an inventor does not want to get their ideas or concepts stolen a person or a company appeals to this system to protect his or her product. since competitors cant steal the idea they must create something better, which poses as an example of encouragement of competition.
