Why does chile sell a large amount of produce in the united states?

It is most likely because, the products that Chile produces are in high demand in the U.S  
The U.S sells products to Chile as well.The U.S. is the second largest exporter of HVFBP to Chile with a market share of 16.4% market share. It has been growing at a 20.4% annual rate over the period from 2010 to 2015. The top ten U.S. HVFBP exported to Chile in 2016 were: dairy products, prepared foods, beer, beef, poultry, pork, condiments and sauces, almonds, processed vegetables and pet foods.
Also the United states operates under the same conditions as Chile, which eliminates complications.
