Both sources could be used to write a paper regarding "Gender Equality".

The Equal Rights Amendment supports that all American citizens are equal under the law, regardless of sex, race, religion, etc. The gender equality discussion is even more present  nowadays because women have earned a different place in society.

50 years ago, women would only be housewives and take care of their children, and nowadays they want to earn their space in the market, they want to earn college degrees and have good jobs to provide for their families.
