How is jrotc different today than 100 years ago ?

JROTC or Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps would be one of the sources of military for enlisting officers when in need. They are trained military-like as to prepare them for deployment of their assignments and special duties when the time comes. As of the current times, JROTC is still implemented, but for the reason of teaching those in the program of leadership skills, improvement in citizenry, educational skills, and mostly life-saving skills. This would also be a way for the modern citizens to keep in shape and maintain a healthy mind and body. Another difference would be how it was implemented. Others would argue that the implementation programs in the past were more effective in promoting physical health since it pushes the body of the trainees to its limits and in turn, hastening their improvements. Whereas in the current times, technologies come in contact which somehow affects progress.
