Why americans felt justified in manifest destiny and expanding westward? a they believed that they were native americans. b they knew the land was not occupied by native americans. c they believed that they had a god-given right. d they received encouragement from european countries?

Manifest destiny was made up by the Americans for an excuse to expand westward so when they expand they can gain moral from different countries and that would effect their trade and gain them money.  Especially for the people, since there would be fresh land and fertile soil to farm on.  

     The answer is C: They believed that they had a God-given right.  

     Also God is capitalized.
