One of the effects of the 16th and 17th amendment was that it allowed the federal government to expand. Through the expansion of the federal government, this allowed them to be more powerful and making their expansion to be continuous because of the power that they have. 

some people are just against it im not sure but i think everyone deserves to be treated equally i think people have a problem with it because its different and not like everything else i hope this !
