The theory of power that I will discuss, and that I find most convincing, is the Marxist theory of power. According to Karl Marx, society can be understood as a clash of classes. This conflict arises because of the differences of people with money, and people without money. More importantly, those who have money are interested in dominating those who do not in order to have a working class that can produce more wealth for them.

I think this is the most accurate theory because it seems to correlate with how the working classes experience abuse by those who own the means of production and are interested in creating more wealth more themselves. It also seems to resonate with a lot of people, as this forms the basis for the ideologies of socialism and communism.
