The Children's march was the step taken to end the segregation and it was the turning point of the civil rights movement. The movement was led by the students to peacefully protest the end or terminate the segregation, and willing to be put in jail if the ruthless attacks took place.

The author uses the second-person point of view to communicate with the readers and brief them about the children's march whereas the author uses a third-person point of view to apprise the overall story. The people who were there get to tell their stories and express their viewpoints and opinions about the events.
