1.- The first transcontinental railroad in the United States, a line that linked the city of Nebraska with Sacramento, a construction that started at both ends and had mostly Irish and Chinese workers.

2.- In 1876, Alejandro Graham Bel invented the telephone that would be broadcasted from 1879. In 1877 Tomás Alva Edison built the first phonograph and in 1887 appeared wireless telegraphy (radio) product of the inventiveness of Guillermo Marconi.
