How does the u. s. constitution ensure that the president does not act outside the rule of law?

Everything about the President of The United States has been written in the Legal Information Institution. It explains what the President can and cannot do. Otherwise there can always be another election (if there are available candidates) and the President can be replaced if he/she has acted outside the law and has committed a severe criminal offense.
