Ever since the fall of Jamestown, colonists had to use alternative lands that didn't have as much harsher winters and had more sun so that their agriculture trade can increase throughout the East. They also spread the Eastern section of the thirteen colonies by opening more trade routes for importing and exporting to help trade crops with the Indians and other colonies of the East.
