What type of role did temples most likely play in everyday religious practice and community life?

Temples  played  a  very  big  role   since   it   focused  to  all   religious  worship  and practices. in  many  communities.The state  religion  and  it  related  practices  such  as  visiting  the  temple  were  also  enforced  by  the  temple.The  offering  expectation  were  meant  only   for  the  wealthy  thus  eliminating  the  poor.
