one could argue that the internment of japanese american citizens was a clear violation of individual liberties. thousands of citizens were forced to leave their homes and possessions behind even though they were not convicted of any crime. along with this, many of them were unfairly stereotyped as being possible spies even though many of them were born and raised in the united state.
