Phoenix, sept. 20, 2012—arizona's new immigration law takes effect this week. according to the law, police officers must check the status of anyone who may be an undocumented immigrant. officers have the right to decide who is checked under this law. a lawyer challenging this law would look up cases involving which right or freedom? freedom from unreasonable searches freedom of the press right to a fair trial right to petition the government

This law make every law enforcments that fail to provide actual reason to conduct searches (such as no violation or no warranties) could be punished either with suspension or even jail time
